We Ride Out for Family is the 7th episode in the fourth season and the 25th overall in Top Boy.

Synopsis[]

Shelley confronts her past. Jamie meets with Kit. Bent on getting Lauryn back, Curtis resorts to devious tactics as more issues overwhelm Dushane.

Plot[]

Curtis, Vee and Speaks travel all the way to London to find Lauryn.

Dushane & Shelley are with Pat. Dean comes round to assemble the bed for Pat. Chris comes round. Sully comes round also as he hears about what happened to Pat. Chris gets funny as he sees Sully as he thinks they are going to talk business in front of Pat. Sully, Chris and Sully help lift Pat to her bed. Sully starts talking about the memories as a child coming round for dinner. Sully leaves and tells Pat to stay strong. Dushane tells his mother that he has to go and he is coming back.

Dushane and Sully start talking about what happened in Spain and that the shipment will come in. Sully tells Dushane about what he feels about Jamie and tells him that Emilio also feels the same. Dushane starts asking Sully when the last time he went to the doctors and he doesn't know. Dushane slowly starts going about his heart problem but Sully doesn't pick it up.

Jamie rings up Kit and leaves a voice message. Jamie sees a cost that Aaron about the damage on Mr Lucien's car. Jamie gets angry at Aaron for not looking after Stefan properly. Aaron walks out ther flat.

Jaq gets ready to leave the house, Lauryn asks Jaq to bring her any tracksuits as her clothes are not fitting in. Lauryn says that Becks' family should get her a guest room. When Jaq walks out the house, she sees Becks outside smoking in the front. Becks tells her that Lauryn coughs when she is around Lauryn when smoking. Jaq tells Becks that she will find Lauryn somewhere else to sleep but Becks says its no rush but Jaq tells her its for her own benefit.

Curtis, Vee and Speaks break in to Jaq's house to find Lauryn.

Jaq drives in her car.

Curtis sits in Lauryn's room looking at pictures of Lauryn and her friends. Vee starts dropping things in the bedroom and Curtis gets funny about it.

When Jaq heads back to her house, she sees Curtis, Vee and Speaks as they both left the house. Jaq takes a look at them and they don't realise that Jaq has seen them. Jaq notices a broken glass and figures that they broke in her house.

Stefan is in the park with Tia and Zehra. Jamie sees Stefan in the park and asks Stefan why is he not in school but Tia tells him its teacher training day today. Stefan walks off with Tia and Zehra.

Sully gets back in his boat and is approached by Delphine approaches Sully and asks how Pebbles is doing. Sully and Delphine have a conversation. Sully gets inside Delphine's boat. Delphine and Sully start kissing.

Shelley and Mandy go to where Beverley's boyfriend Ryan is buried.

Mandy and Shelley go and visit Shemel and Kiera who Mandy knew from prison that can help get rid of Ryan's body to stop Beverley from blackmailing her.

Curtis, Vee and Speaks come in Shelley's salon to find Shelley to find Lauryn. Naomi is working and she tells Curtis that he is desperately trying to find Lauryn and threatens Naomi as she told him he may have the wrong salon.

Kieron calls Jaq telling her that 2 men and a woman come in the salon threatening Naomi to contact Shelley about Lauryn and tells her it was Curtis. Jaq gets in a rush and runs off to Lauryn.

Jamie answers the door to Dushane. Jamie tells Dushane that he wasn't happy about him sending Sully to Spain to check on him and also telling him that he could of dealt with Juan differently. Dushane tells Jamie that they found Dexter but tells him Kit killed him before he could get to him. Dushane tells Jamie that he thinks Kit was the one who arranged to got Ats killed. Dushane tells Jamie that he has to get the answers from Kit to get to him.

Ruben gets out of his cell and tells the prison officer that he wants to see Sarah and Lee as soon as possible.

Lithe is watching the Cricket game. Sully sits with Lithe. Sully starts talking about what he wants for Tash's future but doesn't want Taylor or Paul involved in any of the money he sends for Tash.

Chris is on the phone to Dushane, he tells Chris to call him if anything else happens. Dushane and Jaq are talking about Lauryn as she is back in London. Jaq explains to Dushane about Lauryn's situation.

Kit answers the door to Jamie. Jamie starts asking Kit about Ats. Kit tells Jamie that he arranged for Ats to get beaten and teaching a lesson but not arrange for him to get stabbed. Kit gave his reasons but not mean for him to be killed. Kit was explaining about how he was mocking Stefan in school and the streets. Jamie tells Kit that they are both fucked.

Dushane is walking to the number 1 cafe speaking with Curtis about Lauryn. Dushane tells Curtis that she is not going back to Liverpool and that Summerhouse is her home. Dushane tells Curtis that he is weird how his relationship is with Lauryn telling her what she can wear, locking her away and taking her phone away. Dushane tells Curtis that there is a reason why Lauryn left him in Liverpool. Curtis walks out of the cafe. Dushane walks up to Si, Farah and Tyrone they ask when the new re up is coming. Dushane tells them the shipment is coming. Vee, Speaks and Curtis are round the corner. Curtis advises to go for Dushane's dealers and tail them.

Stefan and Tia are round Tia's house. Tia tells Stefan that she needs money and that she will show him something but not to tell anyone.

Tyrone walks up to Kieron about a re up. Bradders and Samsi are ordered to get to get more drugs in. Curtis, Vee and Speaks start tailing Samsi and Bradders.

Ruben is in a police interveiw with Lee and Sarah. Ruben asks to cut a deal to not get any convictions or charges. Ruben tells them that Bobby Raikes was killed by Dushane and Sully abd is ready to speak about them in court. Ruben warns them that if Dushane finds out he is talking to them and that there will be a problem.

Stefan and Tia find a gun. The gun is owned by A-Roadz gang. Tia tells him they can sell the gun.

Samsi and Bradders walk up to the drug house. They are stopped by Curtis, Vee and Speaks. They put a gun to Samsi and Bradders. Vee smacks Bradders. Curtis, Vee and Speaks rob the drugs and money. Curtis tells Samsi not to buy in Manchester and buy in Liverpool instead and also tells her to tell Dushane to exchange him for Lauryn for the drugs and money.

Kiera, Mandy and Shamel dig up to get Ryan's body out. As they take the body down to the disposal area. Derek tells Shelley whatever gets hiding never gets found. Derek has one of his diggers to dispose Ryan.

Sully and Jaq have a conversation about Lauryn. Jaq tells Sully that Lauryn was the one who told Leyton about Sully going to Jason's funeral. Jaq tells him that Lauryn was remorsefully sorry for telling him. Jaq said that she told Dushane and that Jaq paid off Lauryn and punched her up to never come back. Jaq gets a call off Kieron about Curtis, Vee and Speaks robbing Bradders and Samsi and said that they will get the food and P's back if Lauryn gets back to him. Jaq tells Sully about Curtis robbing the bando. Sully tells Jaq that he is disappointed in her and tells her that she can stay on his boat.

Shelley pays Beverley a visit and tells her that she won't be giving her anymore money. Shelley tells her not to go near her or her shop again and Beverley tells her that she will talk to the police where Ryan's body is and they will find her DNA. Shelley then tells Beverley that they won't find anything and then Shelley starts threatening Beverley if she keeps playing games with her.

Dushane is in his car, Chris is trying to call Dushane but his phone is on silent. Chris leaves a message. Dianna is sat with Chris and Pat. Pat's dementia starts mixing up Chris with Dushane.

Dushane walks up to the bando. Dushane questions Samsi about Curtis. Kieron and Jaq tells Dushane that they took everything. Curtis video calls Dushane burning his drugs and tells him he will burn everything unless if he gives him Lauryn. Wilson Lee calls Dushane and tells him Ruben has sacked him as his lawyer which then Dushane figures out that Ruben has started snitching. Chris calls Dushane and he tells him that Pat has died. Dushane nearly collapses but is saved by Si and Jaq.
