Michael is a character in Top Boy, serving as a supporting character in season by Xavien Russell.
Michael was a young drug dealer for Dushane Hill in the Summerhouse territory, never attending school and sometimes acting as a scout for the gang. In Season 2, Michael was arrested for shoplifting and, fearing for his mother's imprisonment, informed the police about Dushane, Sully, Dris confronting Kamale Lewis the day of his murder.
Later, Dushane sent Michael and Collins to watch over his flat while him and the Summerhouse gang went to retrieve drugs stolen by the Albanians. Albanian thugs then broke into the flat and murdered Collins. Michael ran to the balcony to warn Dushane, before he was thrown off the building to his death.
Biography[]
Michael had a younger brother. Both his brother and mother are never seen in the show. At some point in his life, Michael began selling drugs for Dushane in the Summerhouse territory.
Season 1[]
Michael is in the Summerhouse market when Dushane approaches Ra'Nell and his friend Gem. He tells the two how Michael is 10 years old and already making money.
Dushane pays Michael and his friend to stand outside Kamale's house and orders them to ring Dushane when they have seen Kamale. Michael and his friend wait for a long time but Kamale eventually arrives. Michael rings Dushane and lets him know where Kamale is and Dushane tells him to go home.
Michael approaches Ra'Nell to give him a package of money courtesy of Dushane. Michael tells him the money is for Heather.
Season 2[]
A year later, Michael is still working for Summerhouse alongside Collins, Nafisa, Nevaeh & R-Marni with Shaheed's supervision. Michael is sent by Dushane to see Ben who Michael will manipulate if he didn't come up with the right money.
Michael begins to worry about when he notice Dushane got arrested alongside Dris & Sully for Kamale's murder, when there is posters of Kamale, Michael seems to have the poster of Kamale.
Michael comes with Nafisa and Nevaeh to rob a pair of trainers, Michael is arrested, when Michael is interrogated by DC Leko and DC Trovell, he tells them that Dushane, Sully and Dris paid him to look out for Kamale at the Fields.
Dushane finds out about Michael talking to the police as Rhianna Parkes lets him know that a witness saw Dushane, Sully and Dris at the Fields the night Kamale was murdered.
Michael begins having nightmares about Dushane as he knows Dushane knows he spoke to the police. Dushane has Collins to keep an eye on Michael.
Michael is thrown off the balcony to his death.
Dris convinces Dushane that he can take care if Michael but Dushane tells him that he will take care of it instead, as Dushane gets back to his flat, Collins is dead while the Albanians look for Dushane. As they see Dushane coming through, Michael will repeatedly shout "DUSHANE", as Dardan gets hold of Michael and throws him off the balcony giving Dushane a chance to flee.
Post-Mortem[]
The Albanians begin shooting at Dushane. He manages to get away and hide under a bridge.
