Lauryn Lawrence is Jaq’s sister, she is a major anti-hero in Season 3 and a major protagonist in Season 4 & 5.
Biography[]
Lauryn is the sister of Jaq. She had romantic feelings towards Dris prior to his stroke. She began a relationship with Leyton, a gang rival to her sister's gang. After Lauryn provides Leyton with information about Summerhouse, Jaq finds out. Jaq beats Lauryn up who is eventually paid to leave town. Lauryn is best friends with Shelley.
Season 3[]
Lauryn is seen when Jaq and Dris show up at the home where her and Jaq live, she is sat with Shelley. Lauryn starts dating Leyton and she tells him about Sully going to the funeral of Jason, which results in him ambushing and nearly killing Sully. She also tells him about Dushane asking his brother for £10,000. When Jaq finds out, she beats up Lauryn after confessing to her that she was sleeping with Leyton after grieving when he dies and information on Summerhouse. Jaq tells Dushane about it but convices him not to kill her but knowing he will tell Sully. Dushane gives Jaq money to give to Lauryn and leave London and not come back again.
Season 4[]
Lauryn lives in Liverpool with her new psycho boyfriend Curtis and his sister who Vee who is more of a psycho after life was not easy for her in London and she is pregnant with Curtis' baby. Curtis' sister Vee hated Lauryn. Curtis Jones starts extremely controlling Lauryn. Jaq went all the way to Liverpool to see Lauryn and she begs her to take her back home to London, Dushane didn't want Lauryn back in London for what she did as he believes Sully is more to worry than Curtis Jones and Vee. Fearing for her safety Lauryn escapes Curtis Jones. She gets into the clothes store and escapes through the back while Speaks is chatting with Curtis about the gun deal. Lauryn gets a taxi to London from Liverpool. Curtis Jones, Vee and Speaks fail to catch her. Lauryn is reunited with Jaq in London. Lauryn is hiding in Jaq's new girlfriend's Becks's house. Jaq lied to Curtis about where Lauryn is when Curtis rings Jaq off Lauryn's phone that he had took off her. Curtis, Vee and Speaks travel all the way to London to search for Lauryn. Jaq admitted to Dushane that Lauryn was back in London. Dushane has a chat with Curtis, while threatening Curtis, Jaq tells Sully about Lauryn telling Leyton about him going to Jason's funeral. Curtis starts shooting up Shelley's salon and stealing the drugs off Dushane's dealers in return to give him Lauryn back. Jaq begs Sully to help her. Dushane was forced into action, Jaq decided that she would be the one to draw out Curtis by saying that she will bring him back Lauryn. Jaq tells Lauryn that once she has had it wrapped up that she is cutting her off. But while Jaq waited for Curtis at the meet, Lauryn lured him into the Jaq's house. Lauryn takes matters into her own hands. Lauryn picks up the knife and stabs him multiple times. Romy, Kieron and Sully help get rid of Curtis' body and Jaq comforts Lauryn. The bond between Jaq and Lauryn was tightened.
Season 5[]
With the struggles of the murder of Curtis, Lauryn also struggles with motherhood. Lauryn turns to start using drugs and buys heroin off Rowmando. Jaq and Lauryn hang out for the day with Delroy and pick names as Lauryn didn't like the name. Jaq confronts Lauryn about the drug use and has ago at her about it. Whilst the day out, they visit Shelley's nail bar and get nails done for free. While Becks and Jaq go on a date night, Lauryn overdoses on the drugs and drowns in the bath.

- Lauryn and Leyton's relationship was never seen, it was only heard after Leyton's death and Lauryn starts crying.
- Lauryn besides Pat never got murdered through her fate. All though technically Rowmando killed her.
