Erin Wright

Erin Wright is the daughter of Dris Wright in Top Boy, she is portrayed by Savanah Graham in Season 3 & 5 and Amaya Romulus in Season 2.

Biography[]

She is looked after by her father Dris whilst her mother Mandy is in prison, Mandy has been in and out of prison and become a repeat offende all the way through Erin growing up. Dris would have Nafisa and 3, Erin's dad would have a stroke and Erin does like much of her dad. When her dad is shot dead, she is taken into care. Erin will later start a relationship with Stefan.

Season 2[]

Dris gets Erin ready to go to school. When Dris drops off Erin to school, Dris is arrested by DCI Vicky Trovell for the murder of Kamale Lewis. Erin is collected from school by Nevaeh and Nafisa. The 2 are looking after Erin until Dris is released from prison. Dris is on the phone to Erin's mother while she is in prison, When Dris puts the phone to Erin she tells her that her dad got arrested, Dris snatches the phone as Mandy gets mad on the phone which Dris hangs up.

Dris and Erin go to visit Mandy in prison, Erin gets a hug from her mother but Erin tries to escape the hug, Mandy tells her she is going to start breaking hearts, Erin goes to play with the toys in prison, when Dris tells mandy about the Kamale murder, she worries as she wonders what will happen to Erin.

Season 3[]

Erin remains living with her dad, along with Dushane moving to stay at Dris' flat for a while. Her mother is back in prison. Dris walks Erin to school, she asks him to let her walk to school on her own but Dris doesn't like it. In the last episode she becomes estranged to her dad telling him that she is not his little girl anymore. When Dris is killed by Sully, Erin is surrounded by social services after school.

Season 4[]

Erin is not seen in the series but she is taking into care and Mandy is released but living in a hostel.

Season 5[]

Erin begins a relationship with Stefan, Erin is out of care and now lives with her mother Mandy. Erin comes with Stefan to the party where Stefan is jumped and robbed by Mukhtar and his gang and is there when Stefan beats up Mukhtar to retrieve his chain that once belonged to Jamie. Stefan and Erin later talk about Jamie and Dris and how they knew Sully killed them. When the Summerhouse riot starts Stefan is forbidded to not be allowed out of the care home for protection which Erin texts Stefan but he ignores her text message which leaves her an angry emoji and then a heartbroken emoji, Stefan then throws his phone away.
