Chantelle was a character in Gem's storyline, portrayed by Letitia Wright.
Biography[]
Chantelle was a drug dealer for Summerhouse, and a love interest for Gem Mustapha. She claims to be outcasted by her family and sees Dushane and Sully as her family
Season 1[]
Chantelle's first scene is that she is standing with Tyreek in the Summerhouse estate, Kamale and the London Fields gang come through and rob them, they are robbed before Dushane, Sully and Dris come through to stop them from being robbed. When Gem is bought in by the crew he works alongside Chantelle who Gem then takes an attraction towards Chantelle. When Kamale robs the Summerhouse crew for the 2nd time. Chantelle and Andre go on lookout to the flower area what is left for Shaun Campbell who was killed in result to find Kamale and when they thought they spotted Kamale it turns out it wasn't him, Gem is accused of talking to Kamale all though it wasn't Gem. Chantelle tells Sully where Gem's hideout is which is caused for Gem's dog Marnie to be killed, she then has remorse for what happens, she owns up to Gem for what happens, Gem is crying and she comforts him. She quits with the Summerhouse crew and works for Vincent along with Gem. It's unknown what happened to Chantelle, as she was never seen or heard from again. She is most likely deceased or moved away from summerhouse entirely
