Bonfire Night

Big Flame is the 4th episode of the third season and the 12th overall episode of Top Boy.

Synopsis[]

The fued between the Fields and the A-Roads escalates. A fiery attack puts Sully and Jason in peril. Dushane's plans take an unexpected turn.

Plot[]

Sully and Jason are at the Ramsgate beach again. Jason catches a crab and tries to put it in Sully's face. Sully starts feeding the seagulls and teases Jason about being scared of birds.

Sully and Jason walk past a few racist men sat outside a pub. They make racist remarks to them. Jason tells them that they are from Hackney. The men started asking Jason where Sully is from. Sully and jason walk away and Sully tells Jason to ignore them.


Dris is sat with his daughter his daghter, Dris tries to open her bag but fails. He tells Erin to go to school and he will sort after her school trip.

Haze and his bodyguard go over to meet with Dushane. Dushane tells Haze that their was no deposit but Haze then tells Dushane that a new shipment is coming in at 7am at Blue Sky Industrial estate and tells him if he is late or doesn't have 10 grand then Donovan dies. Dushane walks over to meet up with Dris. He asks Dris if he is OK as he passed out the day he went to burgle the house. Dris and Dushane find out how to get hold of 10 grand which is held for a Muslim gang in a tower block. Dris also warns Dushane that they are strapped with heavy weapons but Dushane cancels it and comes up with something else.

Jamie goes in to speak to Aaron on relationship advise about his girlfriend Abby. Aaron then asks Jamie about his relationship information. Aaron tells Jamie that he also appreciates he has done for Stefan.

Sully and Jason walk back to the house. Heidya walks out, Jason says hi but she carries on to go to the shop. Heidya starts stealing as much in the shop. She goes to the counter to pay for the stuff she didn't dip into her coat but then is stopped by security guards. PC Dean Travis and PC Rachel Charles come through. PC Dean Travis insist to pay for the stuff she sold. The shop owner gets really upset as the police don't arrest Heidya.

Dushane comes over to see his brother Chris at his work. Dushane demands to talk to him but Chris is still very upset with Dushane about what Lee Greene did to him and Natalie left him. Dushane tells him to give him 10 minutes. The 2 talk outside. Dushane demands Chris to lend him 10 grand to save their cousin. Chris makes Dushane beg Chris still refuses and tells him to despiting the fact his cousin's life is at risk with Jamaican gangsters. Dushane rings up Dris about the other plan and tells him to set it up.

Sarah and Lee walk through the Summerhouse estate to go over to Dris for another hit. Dris tells them that they haven't got any drugs to sell, they also remind them about Jordan in the Summerhouse market. Dris tells them to go over to Jaq. They tell Jaq that Dris said he will tick them. Dris tells them to tick them then Jaq tells them to fuck off. Jaq tells Dris about the London Fields gang having alot of drugs to sell.

Kit sits in the car with Jamie looking over the A-Roadz gang. They drive over to Cam and Cornell. The other ZT members cycle over. Jamie puts a gun at Cornell and the crew kidnap Cam. Jamie gives Cornell a bullet to show his crew and reminds Cornell that his crew are for real. Cornell still stands there as he watches his leader get kidnapped.

Dushane comes to see his mum. Tish answers the door to see his mum. Dushane and Shelley have a conversation about what she saw. She gives Dushane a spare key to his mum's house.

Ats and Stefan are looking over a dog that is pregnant, they look to steal the dog as a plan to make money to save Amma from getting an eviction notice. When they walk over to steal the dog, the dog starts to go for them. The owner also shouts over them and the 2 run away.

Faez, Heidya and Jason are sat in the kitchen while the baby is on Jason's lap. They are eating dinner but Sully walks in and tells Jason not to eat with them and put the baby down. Sully tells Jason to not treat Heidya or Faez as friends. The window gets smashed. Faez tells Sully that it happens every week. Sully tells them that he will get it cleaned up.

Ats and Stefan run back to Ats' house. Ats goes to the washer machine to put his school shirt. Stefan over fills the washer machine. As the washer machine starts running it starts breaking. Stefan kicks the washer machine.

Aaron goes round Abby's house and meets her parents Michael and Charlotte. They are happy to meet Aaron. Aaron and Abby go to the backgarden together.

Kit and Jamie drag in Cam. Jamie sits Cam down infront of Leyton, Farah, Si the ZT crew. Jamie whacks Cam's head with a baseball bat for the revenge of Tilly. Then all the ZT members beat him to death.

Aaron has dinner with Abby and her parents. Aaron tells them about himself. With Aaron telling about his parents passing away in 2015. Aaron tells them about Jamie looking after him but never tells him what job Jamie does.

Jamie calls Cornell to tell him at Blackwall house with his crew. Jamie tells the crew to get Cam ready for his friends. As the A-Roadz crew come along. The crew throw off Cam off the tower block infront of them.

Whilst Sully is counting the cash and Jason paying off the people that were working for them. Sully pays Gem his cut and tells him not to buy any drugs. Gem responds "safe Sully". and walks off. Sully and Jason are having a conversation. Jason still asks Sully about watching Arsenal play. Sully also insists Jason to have a girlfriend but says he is not into relationships but Sully also recommends him into getting some female links. The 2 go to bed before leaving for return to London the next morning.

Dris is sat down in his couch practicing with his arm. He takes his meds. Dushane walks in. Dris has weapons from Antiques Roadshow for his and Dushane's plan for tomorrow morning. Dushane pours out a glass of rum and walks out of Dris' flat to ring up Donovan.

The Ramsgate racist crew go in and petrol bomb Faez and Heidya's house. Sully wakes up when the fire is burning he jumps out the window but gets the money before. Sully then thinks about Jason but Jason is trapped. Sully tells Jason to break the window and jump. Sully goes in the house to rescue Jason but couldn't get through. Jason is burnt to death and Sully is very distraught over it. Heidya and Faez demand some money. Sully gives them cash. Sully walks off to leave back to London.

Jamie and Kit are outside together smoking weed.

Sully is on the train back to London being sad about his son figure Jason being dead.

Dushane and Dris wake up to go do that plan they were planning to do. As they leave the flat Sully unexpectedly shows up and points a gun at Dushane and Dris. Sully changes his mind and decides to partner back up with Dushane again.

Dushane cancels the plan with Dris. Sully and Dushane go over to meet up with Haze. Dushane asks about Jason. When Sully tells Jason he didn't make which also shocked Dushane. Haze drives to them. Dushane gives him 10 grand. Haze gives them the bag of drugs.
