Bad Eye

Bad Eye is the 8th episode of the third season and the 16th overall episode of Top Boy.

Synopsis[]

A familiar face breaks free from jail and confronts Jamie about his self-appointed leadership. Lizzie is forced to change her business strategy.

Plot[]

Jermaine is sat spending time with his associate Kwasi in a resturant, also having business calls with distractions. His business associate is getting annoyed with the fact that he spends more time on his phone than think about their celebration what they have on.

Dushane is looking for coffee which there was no coffee for him and Shelley. Tish walks in the kitchen. Tish tells Dushane that its her kitchen. She makes her own breakfast then Dushane helps her. She asked Dushane if he had a sleepover and he said yes. Dushane wakes up Shelley with a cup of tea. Dushane questions Shelley why does she have no coffee. She tells Dushane no one hasn't made her a cup of tea or coffee in her life. Dushane goes on to his phone then he leaves Shelley's.

Ats makes his way to school. Stefan appraoches him. He asked if Jaq called. Ats tells him that she hasn't yet. Ats and Stefan start arguing about the Manchester trip and then Ats tells Stefan about Jamie and what he does. Ats and Stefan start fighting and Mr. Evans stops it.

Jermaine and Kwasi are still in the middle of talking as he keeps asking Jermaine about his money that a guy named Roy owes money to. Jermaine still answers the phone. Jermaine tells Kwasi to stop with negativity and he promise to get him what he wants. Jermaine leaves and meets up with his men with their plan leaving Kwasi to pay the bill.

Dushane meets up with Dris and Jaq in the Summerhouse market. Dushane asks them where are the youngers, but Dris tells him about the Youngers have been wanting to sell for the ZT as they are the ones succeeding more in the drug business. Dushane tells Jaq and Dris to call more people not just youngers but get anyone selling drugs for them. Dushane walks off. Dris calls over Sarah and Lee he tells them to go down the Fields to keep their eyes and ears open whats going down on there. Jaq doesn't get impressed by it as she responds to Dris "Junkies fam really?".

Jermaine and his crew are at their plan they go and drive over to a prison van and help Modie break out of prison. They hold the prison guards hostage and sabotage the van. Modie gets out the van and jumps in the car. He shouts "Daily offender, crazy Eastender". They drive off. Jermaine use the bolt cutters to break the cuffs off Modie.

Jamie is sat down on his phone while Si, Farah, Tyrone and the other ZT are counting the amount of money they've made on the streets. Jamie is looking on the CCTV through his phone noticing that Stefan was leaving for school and Aaron bringing Abby round even though Jamie advised Aaron not to have Abby over and Jamie shakes his head. Farah and Si are acting chidish. Kit was happy with the amount of money what ZT made. Farah looks on her phone and notices on the internet that Modie escaped. It puts the whole crew to shock. Jamie feels under pressure as he feels aware that is going to be a big problem.

Dushane, Sully, Ricky and Gerry make their way to the safehouse where Dris recommended them to go. They don't like it as there is no beds. Dushane kicks off at Dris over the phone. Sully gives Ricky and Gerry money to get new beds for their safehouse.

Stefan goes to peak in Jamie's room. He is looking at all his expensive stuff. Stefan tries to pick one of Jamie's dumbells up but its too heavy. He looks under Jamie's bed and notices there is alot of cash there. Aaron walks back in and questions Stefan why is he in Jamie's room. Stefan asks about Jamie's job. Aaron tries to deny it and Stefan tells him that he knows Jamie is a drug dealer. Aaron tells Stefan that Jamie puts food on the table, provides for them and pays the bills. He tells Stefan he doesn't know what Jamie does but Stefan told him that Ats told him at school he is a roadman. Aaron tells Stefan that Jamie isn't like that and tells Stefan everything will be alright.

Sully comes to visit Taylor and Tash. Taylor told Sully that she told Tash that Sully was her real father. Sully gives Tash her present. Taylor asked her dad to show him her room before she goes to sleep. tash said he is not my dad and Taylor convinces to Tash about what she told her. Sully doesn't see it as a problem. Sully and Paul meet. Sully Paul and Taylor are sat eating dinner. Sully asked Taylor why did she tell Tash about him. Paul tells Sully that him and Taylor said he was away for work. Paul and Taylor tell Sully that he needs patience. Paul and Taylor tell Sully that they feel that they want Tash to get to know her dad. Taylor suggests to have a day out with her, Tash, Sully and Paul. Sully finds it hard to get along with Paul and doesn't seem to like him. Tash walks up to Sully and asks to see her room. Sully comes up with his daughter.

Modie is celebrating with his prison escape. Jermaine is on the phone to his woman on the phone who is Modie's sister. Modie snatches the phone off Jermaine and speaks to her. He is bragging about escaping from prison without caring. He passes the phone back to Jermaine. Jermaine gets off the phone to his girlfriend. Jermaine has ago at Modie and tells him not to do it again. Jermaine keeps asking for his money. Modie keeps promising to Jermaine that he will give him his money after they kill his estranged cousin Sully. Modie goes back to the crew and goes back to celebrating again.

Tash is showing Sully what she has in her room, she shows him all her drawing. Tash shows Sully her book so he reads her the book.

Dushane is sat in the safehouse on his phone. He looks at a photo of his cousin Donovan which puts a smile on his face. There is a bang on the door. Gerry goes to answer the door and it was Dris on the door. He brings in food for Dushane asks Dris if he heard anything about the supplier. Sully comes back and walks upstairs. Dris tells Dushane that he has to go back home to go back to Erin as Mandy happens to be back in prison again for breaching parole.

Lauryn and Shelley are looking at an empty business and Shelley looks to buy it. Its a beauty salon and they plan on running it together.

Dushane is up early, he wakes up Sully to find out who Jamie's supplier is as the only people they only also think of is Kit his number 2 and the 2 brothers who are not part of the drug game. Then Dushane thinks of Lizzie.

Lizzie and Jamie are sorting out the money what was made. Lizzie looks at the newspaper and looks at that Modie was in the front cover. Jamie tells Lizzie that Modie is going to be a problem and think that he has snaked him. Lizzie recommends to him that if he got rid of him once he can do it again. Jamie and Lizzie still have their affair and Jamie walks off.

Dushane and Jaq go in Lizzie's shop. Lithe is working in the shop. Lithe tries to shut her shop. Jaq squares up to her as they both ask where Lizzie is. Lithe tries to phone the police but is stopped by Jaq. Dushane asks her where she is.

Jamie meets up with Stefan and Aaron at a restaurant. Tyrone and Si are watching while they are protecting Jamie while he is having time with his brothers. Jamie is very happy that he is with his 2 brothers. Jamie also surprisingly invites Abby over.

Dushane, Sully, Gerry and Ricky head over and break into Lizzie's house. When they get to Lizzie's house she tries to threaten them with a knife. Lizzie drops the knife and Dushane and Lizzie have a sit down. When she tells the crew that her and Jamie were having an affair she starts crying about it as her husband doesn't know because he was away on business. The crew start laughing about it. Dushane tells Lizzie that he wants Jamie off the road and have her help in return Lizzie supplies to Summerhouse with every drugs they need.

Whilst Jamie has caught up with his brothers and meeting Abby. Stefan asks Jamie when is he going to be back home and Jamie tells him he will be back home in a couple of day. Stefan asks Jamie if he will get arrested, Jamie tells him no one will get arrested and tells Stefan to never worry. Jermaine comes in and interferes with his family time. Jermaine tells Jamie that Modie wants to see him. The 2 leave the resturant. Jamie tells his brothers that he will call them in the morning leaving Stefan worried and curious about Jamie.

Jamie is blindfolded and then he sees Modie. Modie starts laughing and says long time bro. Modie asks Jamie why he is running the London Fields and not his cousin Leyton. Modie asks about Leyton and Modie tells him Summerhouse killed him. Modie makes it clear to Jamie that he needs all the money that he made selling and makes it clear to Jamie that he is running the London Fields despiting the fact that he is on the run.

Sheanay gets a call from Dushane. He asks Sheanay to do something for Donovan. Lizzie is now trapped in the safehouse with the Summerhouse crew.
