Antonio was a drug trafficker operating in Spain, alongside his brother-in-law Emilio. The two were a link between the Summerhouse gang in London and their Moroccan drug suppliers.

Biography[]

Nothing is known about Antonio other than that he has a sister named Sofia. At some point in Sofia's life, she married Emilio and had two daughters with him.

It is unknown how and when Antonio and Emilio met, but by May of 2020, the two were prominent drug traffickers in Spain, rivaling a drug cartel called Los Duques, and paying off Juan "el Bueno", a corrupt captain of Spain's National Police. According to Emilio, he and Antonio had known each other for "a long time".

Top Boy: Series 4[]

Antonio and Emilio are out at sea with a naked man named Javi, reason being that Javi owes Emilio a lot of money. Antonio chains Javi's ankle to an engine while Javi tries to shift the blame for the situation on Los Duques, but Emilio brushes him off. Emilio shoots Javi in the head and his body sinks into the sea.

Antonio picks up Emilio and Sofia from her doctor's appointment the next day. She is suffering from cancer and given three to six months to live. Lizzie Kinfauns arrives from the United Kingdom to talk about the incoming Moroccan shipment of drugs that will supply the Summerhouse gang in London. Emilio tells Lizzie that, per Sofia's request, he is retiring from the drug game and that Antonio will be taking over. Lizzie requests to be at Antonio's meeting with Juan "el Bueno" the following day, a corrupt captain of Spain's National Police whom Antonio and Emilo have been paying to keep Los Duques and other gangs under control.

Lizzie and Antonio meet up with Juan at a beachfront restaurant. The two realize something is amiss and prepare to leave, but Antonio is ambushed by two members of Los Duques and killed. Lizzie escapes unharmed and surmises Juan betrayed Antonio in order to do business with Los Duques instead ("Good Morals").

With the help of Summerhouse gang co-leader Gerard "Sully" Sullivan, Emilio later executes Juan as revenge for Antonio's death ("De Capa y Espada"). A month later, Sully finds out via a news article that Emilio, his daughters, and his mother-in-law were murdered at a First Communion. Sully surmises the Irish mob that had recently killed his Moroccan suppliers are also behind Emilio's death ("The Tour").
